Condobolin attractions

Condobolin is a quiet rural service town located in the Central West of New South Wales. Although it is not a major tourist destination, there are still a few attractions for visitors to explore. These include Gum Bend Lake, which is an artificial lake with picnic facilities. The town also has the Wiradjuri Study Centre and Mount Tilga, known as the exact geographical center of New South Wales. Additionally, there are two museums in Condobolin - the Condobolin Railway Museum and the Lachlander Museum, which was established in 1895. Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of the town and surrounding plains from the town lookout on Reservoir Hill. Condobolin is known for its rich red soils and reliable rainfall, making it a center for wool, wheat, sheep, cattle, fruit, and mixed farming.
