During this period, the barman was known to accept gold dust and nuggets as payment for bar tabs, amassing quantities of gold in jam jars by month's end. Today, the hotel retains its role as a popular gathering spot for both locals and visitors, offering an array of food and beverage options such as pizza, burgers, salads, beer, wine, and spirits.
