Loira wineries

Loira Vines is a small boutique vineyard located on the West Tamar Highway in Tasmania. Run by a husband and wife team, the vineyard carefully tends to five and a half acres of grape vines and apples. They grow a variety of grapes, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Shiraz, along with Red Frontignac and Fragola. They also cultivate Golden Delicious and Pink Lady apples for their craft ciders, as well as four varietals of hops for their beer. Visitors can enjoy wine and cider tastings at their cellar door, where they can experience the unique cool climate wines and bottle-fermented ciders. The vineyard also offers a unique food experience, featuring the best local produce from Launceston and its surroundings. They specialize in a single food offering, a platter, and can accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice. Loira Vines actively welcomes people with access needs, making it an inclusive destination for all visitors.

The winery's focus on hand-made wines, apple ciders, and local produce, combined with its picturesque location, makes it a charming and intimate destination for wine enthusiasts and food lovers. The emphasis on small-scale production and personalized attention from the owners creates a unique and memorable experience for visitors.
