West Coast Eagles player Mitch Brown and netballer Shae Bolton are debuting their own fitness and lifestyle range, Once Upon A Run. We talk to Shae about the new enterprise.

What inspired you to start the range?
Training day in and day out for a living, we were realising that the gear we were training and playing in was crucial to enjoying the experience of the exercise. We wanted to create a range that captures all the key features we love in fitness gear.

Does the range cater to all fitness levels?
Let's be honest, you don't even have to actually exercise in our gear… This range is built for active living. Whether it be marathon running or marathon brunching, we certainly don't judge.

Right to Play striped tank, $40, Irv Blitzer tank, $55, Taking Flight mini shorts, $55, all from Once Upon A Run.

What's different about your range, as compared to the other fitness labels out there?
Every single fabric has been sourced with comfort front of mind. It is a range that combines some of the softest fabrics with functional cuts for easy movement... And our price point is so affordable.

What are the staple items in the range?
For women, you can't go past our Desert Runner and Taking Flight tights. Made
from a fabric called Supplex, they feel like cotton, act like Lycra, suck in the wobbly bits, and best of all won't go see through as soon as you bend in downward-facing dog. The boys will love our basketball shorts: super comfortable and super flexible and super cool. Mitch lives in his.
