Artworks and exhibitions at Brans Antiques & Art this season.

Rodolfo Meli
Untitled | $9800
Mixed media on canvas, 100.5x150.5cm,

Artist | Rodolfo Meli lives and works in the heart of Florence on the Arno river. His work is subtle and sensitive, with a colour palette referring back to Renaissance Florence.
Artwork | As with much of his work, this piece has a kind of theatrical atmosphere, a delicate palette of colours, and a soft texture. The references to classical antiquity are strong, but in a way that appeals to the contemporary eye.

Robert Juniper
Man in a Doorway 1988 | POA
Oil and acrylic on canvas, 122x152cm

Artist | Renowned for his evocative depictions of the WA landscape, Juniper established himself as one of Australia's leading painters, respected as
a generous artist of poetic and spontaneous vision.
Artwork | Mossgreen Gallery, in association with Brans Antiques & Art, is proud to present an important collection of eight unseen works from 1984-2005, by the late Robert Juniper AM.

Giovita Lombardi
Chien Maltais
48cm wide, 31cm high

Artist | Lombardi exhibited at numerous major international exhibitions including the 1867 Paris Exposition Universelle, where he was awarded the Grand Prix d'Honneur.
Artwork | Modelled with a long, wavy irregular coat full of movement and spunk, this exhibition-quality cast bronze Maltese dog dates to circa 1870. Features a rich rose gold-like patina, and comes with its original red velvet-covered exhibition base from the Vienna Exposition des Beaux Arts.
