Grand Cinemas offers great family entertainment for all ages, and exceptional customer service coupled with high-quality facilities, ensuring a relaxing cinema experience.

From its humble beginnings as a small family business in 1928, Grand Cinemas has since grown to become one of the largest independent film exhibitors in Australia. In the days when a night out at the movies meant a trip to the city, Grand Cinemas was at the forefront, with a group of great old theatres in the heart of Perth.

Then came the drive-in era, and the company expanded through Perth's suburbs with a string of popular cinemas. Later, movie-goers opted for the old trend of heading back into the city for a night out. This created another turnaround in the company's focus and the advent of multi-screen complexes. Grand Theatres was again a leader, with the construction of the Cinema City opposite the Perth Town Hall.

Grand Cinemas Gold Lounge

In the early 90s, when movies made a big return to the suburbs, the company developed the first of a chain of high-tech multi-screen complexes, with the first opening at Warwick in 1993. It now has six theatres across Perth and one in Bunbury.

Available for fundraisers, school and out- of-school-care group bookings, as well as Gold Lounge exclusive events, Grand Cinemas has all the facilities to ensure your visit is an enjoyable and memorable one.

With competitive prices and discounts, combined with enthusiastic and committed
staff, it's hard to resist the lure of the big screen.
