WEMBLEY
Combining the best of both old and new, this rustic kitchen exudes so much warmth, it will make anyone feel at home.
Designed by Lisa Cipro of Joyce Kitchens, the renovation aimed to create a showstopper kitchen equipped with the latest appliances and finishes, while staying true to the period features of the home.
A brick pantry was demolished to accommodate the new kitchen and make way for a second prep sink, so the husband and wife had enough space to cook and entertain together.
Jarrah veneer wall cabinets with open shelves and a plate rack were then installed to create a stunning contrast against the Silestone marble-look benchtops and splashbacks.
Other features included soft-closing drawers and pull-outs, concealed rubbish bins, an integrated wine fridge, white shaker-style doors, exposed brick walls
and a pull-out benchtop.
Extensive use was also made of under-cabinet task lighting as a way of enhancing the functionality and ambience of the space.
When presented with the end result, the clients were overjoyed that Joyce Kitchens was able to create a kitchen that was both eye-catching and practical in design, with an abundance of storage.
