Cameron Chisholm Nicol is proud to be playing a fundamental role in the creation of one of Perth’s most sought-after coastal communities.

OCEAN EDGE/MARINA EDGE, PORT COOGEE

Port Coogee is a coastal development precinct with access to parks, beaches and a marina. It will bring together shops, restaurants and a waterside amphitheatre in a new and vibrant community with enviable amenity.

Cameron Chisholm Nicol was engaged by TRG Properties to develop two multi-residential projects at Port Coogee. Working to detailed area guidelines, all are designed to respond to the unique demands of a marine environment while maximising the opportunities presented by the oceanfront location.

Ocean Edge will have 100 dwellings in a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations to suit a variety of lifestyles.

A six-storey building provides views to Cockburn Sound and public open space. This shields a landscaped central courtyard from the prevailing southwest winds, while a three-storey element on the northern side allows the sun into the courtyard.

The facade introduces a high level of visual diversity via recessed balconies and sliding louvre panels of gradating colour. Most apartments enjoy cross-ventilation or dual-aspect orientation.

Marina Edge has one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments over nine levels, and will be the nucleus of the Port Coogee Marina Estate. Most apartments overlook the marina and the balconies protect from the elements while taking advantage of cool summer breezes. These projects at Port Coogee demonstrate how Cameron Chisholm Nicol successfully collaborates with prominent developers to realise the vision for key landmark sites and planned communities in the metropolitan area.
