Since the beginning in 1970, Witch's Cauldron has been widely recognised for its superb, high-quality dining experience. This quality has been backed by countless awards over the years, and the house speciality draws crowds of garlic lovers through the doors on a daily basis – the infamous 'Garlic Prawns' have won multiple awards from the fisheries association.
Its wine has won the Wine List Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine, and owners Geoff & Tanis Gosling were awarded the 'Life Time Achiever Award' from the Restaurant & Catering Institute in 2012. More recently it was a Gold Plate Awards finalist in 2013 and 2014, and took out the Gold Plate Award for best breakfast in 2013.
