Every pool built above ground poses challenges with design, construction and overall operation. The key to building these pools is the plumbing design. The positioning of equipment above the pool, above the balance tank, or completely underground are factors that will all affect the way the pool functions.
As seen here, this pool has been designed so the equipment is concealed under the pool surround, and the balance tank is an open trough 300mm in depth. The completed design features Trend Vitreo Mosaic waterline tiles, a 600x600mm Ceramic Wave Tile on the water-wall, a Crestwood Blue painted trough, and plastering in Rainbow Quartz, 'pool blue' finish. A concrete surround, with a blue feature wall and grass cover below, gives this backyard pool a minimalistic yet modern 'wow' factor.
