Fitzroy Falls lookout

Fitzroy Falls Lookout, located just 150 meters from Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, offers wheelchair-accessible views of Fitzroy Falls and the surrounding Yarrunga Valley.

Visitors can follow the elevated boardwalk to the lookout platform, where they can see the waterfall cascading over sandstone cliffs into the gorge below. Birdwatching and exploring the diverse flora and fauna are also popular activities at the lookout. The best time to visit is after rainfall or in winter when the waterfall is at its most powerful. To get there, visitors can drive approximately two-and-a-half hours from Sydney and follow the signs to Fitzroy Falls newline.
