Robertson Heritage Walk is a leisurely activity that combines history, architecture, and culture.
Located in the quaint town of Robertson, New South Wales, it is approximately 90 minutes from Sydney. To start the walk, visit the Information Centre in the middle of town near Hampden Park. Here, you can find maps and select the route that interests you the most. Points of interest along the walk include the Old Post Office, which dates back to 1896 and was damaged by an earthquake in 1961. The Old Robertson Cheese Factory, the town bakery, bank, and various churches are other landmarks to see. Before starting the walk, admire the Rocks Rain Roots artwork by Peter Campbell at the Information Centre and take in the beautiful garden designed by Dan Thomas Garden Designs. The walk is accessible year-round, with spring and autumn having the most mild temperatures. While buses are available, the best way to get to Robertson Heritage Walk is by private car, taking around 1.5 hours from Sydney.
