To reach Sandon Beach, visitors will need to drive along an unsealed road from Brooms Head for 10 kilometres. Once you arrive at the Sandon River campground, you will be delighted with the river on your right and the glorious beach on your left.

The beach itself is sublime with Plover Island providing protection for swimmers in the ocean. Novice surfers can also enjoy gentle waves perfect for surfing.
