Wooli Beach is a narrow, three-kilometre-long finger of land located between the Pacific Ocean and the Wooli Wooli River.

It is a quintessential beach town with a strong marine presence, protected under the Sigle declaration of the United Nations.

One of the main attractions at Wooli Beach is its beautiful sandy shoreland, stretching north to Wilson's Head. Tourists can explore further with 4WD access to pristine natural beaches. The southern corner of Wooli Beach is popular for fishing off the breakwall and surfing the beach breaks. It is a perfect spot for swimming, surfing, and fishing, with summer patrols ensuring safety for the whole family.

Wooli Beach is an attractive tourist destination all year round. To get to Wooli Beach, it is approximately an 8-hour and 30-minute drive from Sydney or a three-hour drive south of Brisbane for those coming from Queensland. Public transportation options include taking a train or bus to Grafton, the nearest station to Wooli, with buses available from Grafton to Wooli.
