Description
Situated where two oceans meet, Cape Leeuwin lighthouse is the extreme south west point of Australia.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse fully-guided tours take visitors to the top of the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia; where a vast seascape unfolds, and the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. Constructed in 1896, this is still a vital working lighthouse for vessels navigating the treacherous cape. The new Interpretive Centre, housed within one of the original lighthouses keepers' cottages, is an outstanding interactive experience that celebrates the history and lives of the numerous lighthouse keepers who were custodians of this rugged coastline.
