Australia's largest destination film festival returns to the beautiful South West region of Western Australia from 31 August to 8 September.

Enjoy more than 200 film screenings and special events at cinemas, wineries, small bars, boutique breweries and galleries, alongside filmmakers and film talent from Australia and overseas.

CinefestOZ is home to Australia's richest $100,000 Film Prize for a new Australian production. This year's finalists include the hilarious family comedy - Runt - starring Celeste Barber, Jai Courtney and Jack Thompson; Indigenous horror - The Moogai; as well as the dark comedy - Audrey, and animation delight - Memoir of a Snail - courtesy of the Melbourne International Film Festival.

Each of the Film Prize Finalist Films enjoy a red carpet premiere screening and after-party as well as an intimate, meet the filmmaker In Conversation dining event ahead of the Film Prize Award Celebration.

The festival also celebrates local Indigenous culture at the free Deadly Days, as well as free Community Screenings, the Cinesnaps Schools program and a dedicated Industry Program.
