Rocky Hole

Rocky Hole in the Moreton Bay Region hinterland is a serene getaway from crowded beaches.

It is conveniently located just a short walk from the car park, but only accessible by 4WD vehicles. The main attraction is the powerful waterfall, where visitors can swim in the natural pool or relax by the waterhole. There is also a timber swing and opportunities for children to collect pebbles or watch fish. The best times to visit are between December to February for a refreshing swim, or June to August for cooler temperatures. Visitors should follow safety guidelines, such as being cautious near waterholes and avoiding diving or jumping into the water newline.
