The Bluebird Cafe is a 90-seat music club located in Nashville, Tennessee.
It opened in 1982 and has become one of the world's preeminent listening rooms. The venue features acoustic music performed by established singer-songwriters and cover artists. Despite its unassuming appearance in a small strip mall outside of downtown Nashville, The Bluebird Cafe has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter performance space. Over the years, it has hosted significant songwriters and artists in the industry, including Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kris Kristofferson, Carole King, Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Taylor Swift, Townes Van Zandt, and Kathy Mattea, among many others. The Bluebird Cafe has also been featured on the TV show "Nashville" and was the subject of a documentary released in 2019.
