The Well Bookshop, which opened in 2000, is an independent bookshop located in the Applecross Village Shopping Centre in the heart of leafy -green Applecross. There are 6 alfresco cafes within 100 metres, a gourmet grocery shop, butcher, greengrocer, gift shops, newsagent, chemist , post office shoe shop, liquor store, several clothing boutiques, hairdressers and beauty shops among others in the Centre.

Vicki, Alison and Suzy take pride in our level of service and knowledge of books – we all read – a lot! We stock a large range of fiction -both literary and light and non-fiction including cookery, travel, art, fashion, biography and history. We also have an excellent range of children's books .

At The Well we like to provide personalised advice on reading material for both adults and children and are happy to take special orders and assist bookclubs in their choice of reading. Or, if you are just passing by, you are welcome to browse our shelves uninterrupted.
