Canoelands attractions

Canoelands, New South Wales, has a range of attractions for visitors. One of these is the Canoelands Orchard, which is conveniently located just an hour from Sydney. The orchard offers a unique experience where visitors can pick their own fruit, including peaches, nectarines, and plums, during the November and December season. In addition to fruit picking, the orchard also produces its own honey and provides tours such as Hive Honey Tours, farm walks, and technical farm tours. Visitors can also explore the beautiful 100-acre orchard, famous for its blood plums, candy plums, and other seasonal stone fruits.

For those who love nature, the Canoelands Ridge Walking Track is a must-visit attraction. This 10-kilometer walking track offers breathtaking views of the Hawkesbury River and the iconic Hawkesbury sandstone. Along the way, visitors will encounter diverse vegetation, including native wildflowers, gullies filled with waratahs and Gymea lilies, as well as saltmarsh and mangroves near the river's edge. The track also leads to the historic Gentlemans Halt campground, providing an opportunity for a peaceful overnight camping experience in the bushland.
