Mornington Peninsula Region botanical gardens

The Mornington Peninsula Region in Victoria is known for its beautiful arboretums and botanic gardens that showcase the diverse flora and landscapes of the area. Notable gardens in the region include Panorama Garden Estate, a picturesque garden estate with stunning plant displays and landscaping, and Enchanted Adventure, a family-friendly attraction featuring gardens, mazes, and adventure activities. Heronswood is a historic property known for its beautifully maintained gardens that offer a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Garden is a unique garden with a maze, lavender fields, and various plantings. The Mornington Botanical Rose Gardens in the Civic Reserve showcase over 4,000 roses planted in 86 beds and are surrounded by native Australian trees and shrubs, maintained year-round by dedicated volunteers.

In addition to these gardens, the Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Arboretum in Frankston is a lovely spot with beautiful "garden rooms" and parking available for about 20 cars. For a more extensive experience, the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne offers a natural bushland experience alongside the Australian Garden, an award-winning contemporary botanic garden celebrating the beauty and diversity of Australian landscapes and flora. The bushland features over 450 indigenous plant species and more than 10km of walking tracks.
