As February comes to a close, so does Perth’s beloved summer. Sadly, we have to kiss those balmy summer nights and beautiful beach sunsets goodbye. But it’s not all bad news! WA has a lovely long weekend coming up, and we have scoured through the abundance of events to find our top picks! Check them out below.

Highway To Hell

From Applecross to the Rainbow in Fremantle, Canning Highway is being shut down to create the world’s longest stage! The grand closing of Perth Festival is Highway To Hell, a celebration of Perth’s connection to AC/DC front man, Bon Scott! Perch up and watch as eight trucks roll down the highway as moving stages, celebrating local, national and international artists. Best of all, Highway To Hell is a family-friendly and totally free event, so there’s no excuse not to pop down!

Details Date: Sunday, Mar 1 Time: From 3pm Location: Canning Highway See our listing HERE

Nannup Music Festival

An iconic regional WA event, the Nannup Music Festival is back this weekend! As always, they will be serving up a smorgasbord of artists from overseas and over east, as well as a range of local urban, regional and remote acts.

Perhaps the greatest part of Nannup Music Festival is the diversity of things to do on the festival site – there’s live music to one side, and workshops on arts and crafts, yoga, dance and kids activities alike to the other. It makes for a fantastic mix, so there’s always something fun to do! If you fancy a road trip down to the beautiful and historic town of Nannup for a long weekend delight, Nannup Music Festival is for you.
