Lester Prize for Portraiture: Youth Awards 2023 Winners Announced

The winners of the Lester Prize Youth Awards have just been announced - with over 170 talented young artists entering this year's competition. Selected from 30 incredible finalists, the winners of this year's competition impressed judges with technique and the ability to capture a moment in a portrait. Student prizes for this year’s awards included a total prize pool of $5000, as well as art supplies for winners and runners-up to assist students in pursuing their artistic passions. The winning pieces and the Youth Award finalists' works will be on display to the public at the WA Museum Boola Bardip until Sunday, 16th July 2023.
