Calling all charcuterie enthusiasts! Assorted cured meats, hard and soft cheeses, house-made olives, and fresh-baked bread. What more could you ask for? We’ve scouted the top places to enjoy a charcuterie board in Perth.

The Partisan

East Perth

Known for their larder board served with rabbit & rosemary terrine, chorizo sausage, shaved prosciutto, Danish fetta, house-marinated olives, and charred ciabatta and croutons, The Partisan lies on the East Perth Waterfront. If you are lucky to spot a free table, you will be pleasantly surprised by this riverside experience. The Partisan is open every day of the week from 7am to 9.30pm.

Perth CBD

No tapas bar is complete without a grazing platter. This intimate, low-lit hub decorated with lamps, leather sofas, mirrors, and mismatched, antique crockery, offers a wide selection of charcuterie boards that are guaranteed to please any palette. Andaluz offers the chef’s daily selection of pâtés, terrines, and cold specialties, served with warm bread. Although it is hidden away, Andaluz is well-liked and does not take bookings, so arrive early to avoid missing out on a table. It is open Tuesday to Thursday 4pm to 11.45pm, Friday 4pm to 1am, and Saturday 6pm to 1am.

Shadow Wine Bar

Meat lovers’ paradise, Shadow Wine Bar nestled in the heart of Northbridge on William Street, allows visitors to remove themselves from the everyday and enjoy an afternoon aperitivo. The Bar is conveniently located around the corner from Perth’s cultural precinct in Alex Hotel, and encourages visitors to immerse themselves before enjoying post-show drinks in their beautiful space. Customers may hand-select their own meat and cheeses for a DIY charcuterie board or leave the decision to the expert chef. Shadow Wine Bar is open Monday through to Saturday, from 12 until late, and reservations are recommended.

Bivouac Bar and Canteen

Bivouac Bar and Canteen on William Street was devised by Anthony and Amanda Princi as a get-away for diners among the hustle and bustle of Northbridge. It serves canteen-style share plates and mains, making it the perfect place for some wine and nibbles. The charcuterie board at Bivouac includes wagyu bresaola, Serrano-style air dried pork, salami Toscana, olive mortadella, ham hock terrine, pickles, and char-grilled sourdough. The ever-changing selection of meat means you can never get sick of this board. They’re open Thursday to Sunday from 12-3pm and then 5-10.30pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday 5-10.30pm.

Le Rebelle

Mount Lawley

Although many come to this Paris meets New York-inspired bistro for quality European dishes like the Poisson Du Jour, we highly recommend coming back for a cheeseboard. Le Rebelle is a three-tiered restaurant with a bistro, wine bar, and an intimate dining area. They run their very own dairy program with milk and cream collected from a single herd of Guernsey cows from Serpentine each week. Choose from a selection of cheeses such as rich and creamy 6-week aged camembert, fresh Persian feta and fromage blanc, black wood blue, as well as international offerings from the French Alps and Spain. Le Rebelle is open Wednesday and Thursday 5-10pm, and Friday and Saturday 12am to 10pm.
