Zoos in Perth

Perth Zoo, located in South Perth, Western Australia, spans 17 hectares and attracts tourists and locals alike. Established in 1898, the zoo is home to 1,258 animals across 164 species, with a focus on wildlife conservation and environmental responsibility. Situated just five minutes from the city, Perth Zoo features naturalistic exhibits and lush gardens that offer visitors a glimpse into diverse ecosystems.

Within the zoo, visitors can explore different regions such as the Australian Bushwalk, the Asian Rainforest, and the African Savannah. These areas showcase a variety of animals including elephants, tigers, rhinoceros, lions, and giraffes.
