Description

Brownhill Creek Recreation Park is a beautiful natural haven located south of Adelaide City Centre, within the City of Mitcham. Spanning approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 miles), the park follows the course of Brown Hill Creek and was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act in 1972.

It aims to provide recreational opportunities while conserving the aged river red gums and the riparian zone habitat.

Designated as a "National Pleasure Resort" in 1915, the park has been cherished by locals and tourists for over a century. Falling under the IUCN Category III protected area, it offers a chance to experience the region's unique flora and fauna within a protected environment.
