APPLECROSS

Digging deep and getting to know clients on a personal level is a declaration many builders make. For third-generation builder Michael Burke of Brian Burke Homes, however, the statement couldn't be more true, forming the foundation of his business and the bespoke homes he creates that perfectly encapsulate clients' personalities, passions, and lifestyles.

This individualised approach has been passed down from grandfather to father and son, and is one of the reasons Brian Burke Homes is famed for its portfolio of luxury homes that are anchored to the personal interests and dreams of its clients.

A clear standout on the banks of the Swan River is Brian Burke Homes's latest project in Applecross, one that is unique and representative of the clients' outgoing personalities.

The owners sought a relaxed family home that facilitated their various hobbies and love of entertaining, with the outdoor living areas designated to the front to soak up the river vistas at its doorstep.

DALKEITH

Travelling the world got the clients of this Dalkeith home excited and inspired to inject some international flair into their living space. The results are truly something – a testament to both the quality bespoke design and the construction service Brian Burke Homes offers direct to its clients.

From the first look, it is no surprise the home is award-winning, landing the Master Builders Association Top Home in WA award in 2014 as part of the company's winning streak for the best home in WA for the last four years in succession. In addition to the international undertones reflected through form and finish, the clients also desired parking for six cars, so Brian Burke Homes took up the challenge of excavating an expansive garage underground. Special features also include an impressive gentleman's style study/library with built-in cabinetry, and a generous alfresco cooking and dining area with all the trimmings, from a huge wood fire and pizza oven, to champagne cooler, resort-style pool, and private guest lodge with its own cabana.

BICTON

Perched atop a cliff in Bicton, this home enjoys breathtaking views out to the Swan River – even offering its occupants a glimpse out to Perth's favourite holiday spot, Rottnest Island.

Entertaining areas that exploit these views were a must for the owners, as was a separate guest suite to accommodate their regular lineup of international guests.

With the home being built high up on a cliff, Brian Burke Homes was also conscious of providing shelter from the prevailing sea breezes to the main living zones.

HILLARYS

A home is more than a collection of bricks and building materials - instead, it's a place where a family's greatest memories will begin, and successes will be celebrated.

The clients of this Hillarys home were after just this, requesting a warm and welcoming family home that would play host to great times shared with family and friends of all ages.

Purpose-built zones for relaxing and entertaining were established, along with
an outdoor area with a below-ground pool large enough for the entire family to gather and socialise.
