This magnificent City of Bayswater venue is a community hub just ten minutes from the CBD. As one of the City's landmark buildings, it employs a range
of modern green technologies and design theories to minimise impact on the
environment, while maximising useability.
The versatility of The RISE makes it ideal for business, community and private events, with a range of areas well-equipped for conferences, seminars, business presentations and formal dinners. The main function room can seat up to 450 people and is fully equipped with audio-visual equipment, adjoining commercial kitchen and other features.
The secondary conference area, known as the breakout room, is simply styled, and can seat up to 280 delegates. This room can also be sectioned into two or three separate areas for individual workshops, green rooms or split group activities.
On a smaller scale, the meeting room seats eight to 12 people in comfort and is suitable for business or community meetings.
To make an impression at your next event, the level one foyer area surrounds the sweeping curved main staircase. Glass balustrading and views of the gardens below create an area particularly popular for indoor cocktail parties and conference trade shows. For larger crowds or sundowners, the expansive balcony can accommodate 450 people for a cocktail function overlooking the picturesque gardens.
The commercial kitchens at the RISE are accessible from both function rooms, the level one foyer and the balcony. This allows clients the freedom to arrange their own catering. The RISE can also recommend reputable catering and beverage suppliers familiar with the facilities and access to the venue.
