East meets west in this award-winning Japanese fusion restaurant, nestled in the streets of Mosman Park.

After opening in 1998, Tsunami continues to provide Perth with innovative modern Japanese cuisine. It has since won numerous Gold Plate and Australian Wine List awards, and is now listed in the Good Food Guide with a 'one star' status for Fuku.

Head chef Tetsuya Sakamoto is one of Perth's top sushi chefs, with experience in Tokyo, Dubai and Melbourne (Nobu).

The backyard garden area is endowed with a magical 'fairyland' array of lights set against a natural organic display overhead, maintaining a beautiful oriental garden feel, while staying protected against the elements. In the garden, 140 guests are invited to dine on the long tables, or 250 can dine cocktail-style.

The large dance floor means guests can party in the 'back room', and DJs can use Tsunami's sound system. Screens, projectors and PA systems are also offered to enhance any function.

Alternatively, guests may choose the private 'ripple' function area, for 50 guests to sit down or 100 people to party cocktail-style.

Tsunami caters for both east and west with its fusion dishes. Function and specialised wedding packages are offered, with all wedding options including a standard drinks package. The sit-down table service package is the most popular, with main-meal orders taken from individual guests during the event.

Tsunami makes for an intimate, relaxed yet elegant choice for your next function.
